Sacramento Safari 2008
23/01/08 06:55
Hello,
PTA Friends & Fellow Advocates for
Kids!
We’re pleased to announce that registration for Sacramento Safari 2008 is now open.
The trip is Tuesday-Wednesday, April 1-2.
The cost is $475 for double occupancy or $550 for single occupancy.
(If you choose double occupancy but don’t have a roommate request, one will be selected for you.)

Remember to have your unit or council vote to send whoever is going as a representative. Even if someone offered to pay for her/himself, s/he would need to be voted to represent a PTA body, and obviously be a member of PTA. See more information on Safari policies on the 4th District PTA website (link below) under Advocacy, then “Sacramento Safari”

HOW TO REGISTER:
There are two ways to register: online or by mail. (In either case, the check needs to be mailed.) We prefer online registration because it ensures correct spelling of names and emails, it gives the registrant an instant emailed confirmation, and it saves the committee lots of data entry! (Hey, we’re all volunteers, too.)
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Go to 4th District PTA’s website: http://www.fourthdistrictpta.org/
2. Click on the “Advocacy” drop menu and select “Sacramento Safari”
3. Read the information on the page
4. Look for the “Registration Options” box near the lower right.
5. Choose “Register Online”
6. Fill in all the information you can, including emergency contacts. Be particularly careful that the name you give is the name on the ID you will use to board the airline flight.
7. Print up the confirmation page before you push the submit button.
8. See your instant email confirmation
9. Mail in your check for either $475 or $550, accompanied by either your confirmation page or your confirmation email, to:
Sacramento Safari
Fourth District PTA
1520 Brookhollow Drive, Suite #40
Santa Ana, CA 92705
10. Put the Safari Orientation date—Monday, March 17th—on your calendar, as well as the trip dates.
If you prefer not to register online, print out the registration forms from the same place on the website (choosing “Print a Form” instead of “Register Online.” Mail the completed forms and your check to the address above.
Easy enough, huh?
If you have trouble, contact me. Looking forward to a great trip!
